This Ma$e track from the G-Unit era over Lil’ Kim’s – Lighters Up for me has always been a highlight of his 10 Years of Hate Mixtape.
I get that Bad Boy era shiny suit Ma$e is what he’s most known for but I love how home-studio-esque the later Mase songs sounded.
I had to hit this classic with some SP-404 SX flavor ESPECIALLY. I actually feel like the SX’s sound lines up with these older tracks perfectly.
